10k Prize Pool: Visualize BNB Greenfield Use Cases!

BNB Chain launched BNB Greenfield on mainnet on October 17. We’re inviting community members to demonstrate on social media how Greenfield can be used!

Community members can create content about Greenfield’s data marketplace and access control for example in a video, picture or cartoon, etc. format. A prize pool of $10,000 worth of BNB will be shared among the 10 community members.

Activity timeline:

• Submission period: November 13, 01:00 PM (UTC+0) to December 4, 11:59 PM (UTC+0)
• Announcement of semi-finalists: December 6, 2023, 10:00 AM (UTC+0)
• Voting period: December 6, 10:00 AM (UTC+0) – December 8, 10:00 AM (UTC+0)
• Announcement of winners: December 8, 1:00 PM (UTC+0)

Prizes:

• $10,000 worth of BNB
  • 1st place: $3,000
  • 2nd place: $2,000
  • 3rd place: $1,000
  • 4-10th place: splits $4,000 equally

How will the winners be chosen?

• BNB Chain core team chooses the top 10 semi-finalists, based on the following considerations:
  • Education content about Greenfield
    • Eg. Greenfield’s access control or Greenfield’s data marketplace or creating a bucket or group on DCellar
  • The content clearly conveys the information
  • Explained in a beginner-friendly way
  • Social engagement
  • Originality of content
• The community will choose the top 3 winners out of the 10 semi-finalists via an X poll from December 6, 10:00 AM (UTC+0) – December 8, 10:00 AM (UTC+0). 

Campaign Process:

1. Review documentation about Greenfield
   1. Focus on data marketplace and access control. 
2. Create content in either video or written format based on Greenfield’s access control or data marketplace.
3. Post the content on X with the hashtag #BNBGreenfield
4. Fill out the form and attach the link of your content to the form.
5. BNB Chain core team chooses the top 10 contents that will go to the semi-final.
6. Community will be able to choose the top 3 winners out of the 10 semi finalists via an X poll between December 6 and December 8, 10:00 AM (UTC+0)
7. The results will be announced on December 8, 1 PM UTC (UTC+0)
8. The rewards will be distributed before December 15, 2023.

Terms & Notes:

• All dates are in the year of 2023.
• All times are in UTC+0 timezone.
• All submissions need to be made before December 4, 2023, 11:59 PM (UTC+0).
• There is no limit to the number of submissions a participant can make.
• The submission can be in any language of your choice and is not restricted to English.
• Please, do your best to ensure high-quality resolution when producing.
• All submissions must be original works of the participants.
• Prizes Distribution: rewards will be distributed to the winners within 5 working days after we announce the final results. Rewards will be transferred to the BEP20 wallet address submitted on the application form.
• All videos shall not contain any content that is hostile to the country, cause religious or ethnic disputes, etc., and shall not involve pornography, violence, or racial discrimination.
• By participating in this competition, authorship remains with the entrant, but the entrant acknowledges to transfer the copyright of the submitted video to BNB Chain. All participants grant BNB Chain, including but not limited to, copy, edit, display, and publish the submissions.
• BNB Chain reserves the right to cancel or amend any Activity or Activity Rules at our sole discretion.
• BNB Chain reserves the right of final interpretation.
