In the Project Spotlight series, we interview projects developing on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Previously, we shared interviews with ForTube, BurgerSwap, Bounce, Arkane Network, AnySwap, Bitquery, Blink, Tenderly, Defistation, PARSIQ, Injective Protocol, Mirror Protocol, BunnyPark, MOBOX, and Covalent. Today we’re thrilled to introduce you to the next project – Tenderly.
Spotlight on Tenderly

What is your core business, can you expand on your business strategy to those unfamiliar with your project?
Tenderly: Tenderly is an end-to-end developer platform that streamlines the entire product creation process on blockchain by providing its users with abstractions, tools and services so they can focus on their core business.
We are building a platform that aims to advance both the speed and quality of blockchain product development by giving users professional-grade tools whether they want to perform everyday tasks or build their products on top of Tenderly. Creating a product with the purpose of making developers’ lives easier we also want to lower the barrier to entry for the newcomers in the space. From debugging transactions and monitoring smart contracts to performing complex simulations and setting up mission-critical alerts – Tenderly can be integrated into the users’ workflow in almost any way.
All of this in line with our vision of driving global adoption and making blockchain the next phase of internet evolution. We realize that a massive shift like that doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why we want to equip as many people as possible with a production-grade development environment where they can achieve their goals with optimized resources and build better products faster.
When was the idea behind Tenderly born, and what led to it?
Tenderly:Like many products today, the idea behind Tenderly was born out of our own frustration with developer tools that were available at the time. What started as an in-house solution soon evolved into the diversified offering of simulation tools, testing environments, smart contract monitoring, and production infrastructure abstractions.
Can you tell us more about your team’s background and introduce the core members?
Tenderly:Our whole endeavor is driven by the mandate to further drive blockchain adoption, so all of us in the space can do what we enjoy better and with more focus on what really matters. The team is growing which really excites us, a lot of us have several years of experience developing products on blockchain before Tenderly which in such a young space makes us almost veterans, and we’re not planning on stopping what we’re doing anytime soon.
What are the main advantages of Tenderly for the user, compared to a similar project from other projects?
Tenderly:Our product is built to cater to developer teams of various sizes and stages of maturity. Tenderly can be used by individuals just starting in the space, and on the other end of the spectrum we have customers that integrate Tenderly in their own products in order to create additional value for their users.
Visual Debugger removes frustration and significantly cuts development times, and Simulations and Forks give users the option to test different scenarios to predict outcomes and optimize gas usage. As for monitoring and alerting, Tenderly offers unparalleled insights into blockchain data as well as a real-time notification system that enables individuals and teams to stay up to date with any changes and events they want to track across various networks. Users can access Tenderly via Dashboard or API and use the CLI if they prefer.
Our offering covers a wide range of use cases and we support all major networks, always focusing on perfecting the developer experience as this proved to be a valuable competitive advantage in this space.
Let’s say I want to start using Tenderly. Where do I start? Where can I find some how-to guides?
Tenderly:Anyone can start using Tenderly for free, without a credit card. We offer a free tier as well as Developer and Pro tiers that users can try out using the free trial, without any commitments. For useful tips and tricks, you can visit our blog to learn more. We are also working on a detailed documentation segment on our website which will be going live in the coming months.
Why did you decide to build on the Binance Smart Chain?
Tenderly:We connected the BSC to the Tenderly platform so developers can have a better experience while developing on BSC. Adding BSC to the list of networks we support goes in line with our goal to provide our solution to all developers working all bleeding edge blockchain tech.
Given the size, scope and reputation of Binance as a company, it was only a logical step for Tenderly to provide developers with all necessary tooling and enable developers to be more productive while developing on BSC.
What are some upcoming plans for your project? Can you tell us more about your roadmap?
Tenderly:We plan on further developing different platform modules – deeper dives into the available information we provide as well as usage flexibility – and generally making everything run more smoothly, although even now we’re getting overwhelmingly positive feedback from our current users. There is still a lot more value to be created with further Tenderly development, both from how we see the product growing and what the blockchain community is voicing as their needs and problems to be solved. We will definitely take care to balance both perspectives, in order to hopefully provide the most complete and powerful blockchain tooling platform on the market.
