Binance Will Support the Acala (ACA) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) Network Upgrades & Hard Forks

Fellow Binancians,

Binance will support the Acala (ACA) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) network upgrades and hard fork.

  • The Acala (ACA) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at the Acala block height of 391,300 or approximately at 2022-02-12 05:00 (UTC). Deposits and withdrawals of ACA will be suspended approximately starting from 2022-02-12 04:00 (UTC);
  • The Ethereum Classic (ETC) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at the Ethereum Classic block height of 14,525,000 or approximately at 2022-02-12 18:00 (UTC). Deposits and withdrawals of ETC will be suspended approximately starting from 2022-02-12 17:00 (UTC).

Please note:

  • The trading of ACA and ETC will not be affected during the network upgrades.
  • The Acala (ACA) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at the Acala block height of 391,300. The estimated time is for users’ reference only.
  • The Ethereum Classic (ETC) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at the Ethereum Classic block height of 14,525,000. The estimated time is for users’ reference only.
  • Binance will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding ACA and ETC in their Binance accounts.
  • The Acala (ACA) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) network upgrades and hard forks will not result in new tokens being created.
  • We will reopen deposits and withdrawals for ACA and ETC once we deem the upgraded networks to be stable, and we will not notify users in a further announcement.
