We are excited to introduce the new article series, called the BSC Grants Spotlight. This series will introduce you to the top five projects from the first round of the BSC Grants.
BSC Grants is a Quadratic Funding Grant sponsored by the BSC ecosystem and held on HackerLink.io, a blockchain developer platform under DoraHacks. Developers from all over the world can submit projects to Hackerlink.io.
We continue with the project that placed second in the community vote, the Meta Network, also known as Matataki.
Spotlight on Meta Network
Please describe Meta Network to our audience and tell us what’s unique about your project.
With Meta Network, creators raise money via a token to create something (e.g., write an essay) and then the holders of that token will accrue value for early support of the project.
When a creator makes something, they can generate value across the lifetime of that object, such as art resales or song streams. We believe that tokenization can enable unique access requirements which incentivize communities and users to pay for access and participate more actively.

Zhong Wang
A wealth of experience in the technology and media industries has made the former China Radio International anchor a paradigm changer in the blockchain industry.
What’s the most important element on your roadmap? What can we expect from you in the coming weeks and months?
The most important thing in the roadmap is to build extensibility: developers can rely on the Meta SDK to complete Token issuance, circulation, and trading, enabling a one-stop Social Money experience.
A separate subsite will be launched soon, which will reflect Meta’s modularity.
What do you think made you succeed in the 1st round of BSC Grants?
First of all, the strength of our community is very strong and important, and they mobilize their friends to support us.
Secondly, we are the leading project based on social money networks in Asia. We have earned trust from community members.
Finally, BSC Grants is a good platform, which allows us to have received a lot of attention during the event and amplifies the support of the community.
Why did you decide to build on the Binance Smart Chain? What do you hope to see next from the BSC community?
First of all, Binance Smart Chain has a good user experience and low transaction fees, making it a good carrier for web3 applications. Secondly, the ecosystem, community, capital, and technology of BSC are very prosperous and powerful. Therefore, we have no reason not to launch our unique project on Binance Smart Chain.

The best place to start with Meta Network would be our guide book. There you can find everything to get you up and running in no time.
