BNB Chain will be a key sponsor of the ETH India hackathon, the largest Web3 developer gathering in India. As a global blockchain leader, BNB Chain is committed to fostering the growth of decentralized ecosystems. ETH India provides the ideal platform to connect with one of the fastest-growing developer communities in the world and showcase the power and versatility of building on BNB Chain. The hackathon will take place from December 6-8, 2024.
Why ETH India?
ETH India is a highly anticipated event organized by Devfolio, bringing together developers, projects, and blockchain enthusiasts for a three-day celebration of innovation and collaboration in the heart of Bangalore, India.
India is home to the second-largest developer community globally, with a 26% year-over-year growth on GitHub. At the inaugural BNB Hack in Bangkok, two of the top three teams were from India, highlighting the region’s talent and enthusiasm for blockchain innovation.
What to Expect In The Event
We believe innovation thrives in the absence of constraints, so we’re not setting any fixed tracks. While we’re particularly excited about two transformative areas—Decentralized Science (DeSci) and AI—developers are encouraged to explore and build freely, guided by their own research and vision.
- DeSci: Decentralized research paper publication, decentralized research milestone verification, such as testing result proof generation, etc.
- AI: Decentralized data labeling applications.
The hackathon features a $155,000 prize pool. The top team will receive $2,500, a $100,000 kickstart package, a direct MVB (Most Valuable Builder) Program interview, and a month of technical support. Second and third-place teams will also receive cash prizes and kickstart packages.
